This website was conceived by Bill Scott of Ontario Hydro and designed by TERA Environmental Consultants.

 

This symposium began at Mississippi State University in 1976, and was subsequently held in Ann Arbor, MI in 1979; San Diego, CA in 1982; Indianapolis, IN in 1987; Montreal, Québec in 1993, New Orleans, LA in 1997; Calgary, Alberta in 2000; and in Saratoga Springs, NY in 2004.

The symposiums address environmental issues in rights-of-way planning and management, and provide a forum for information exchange among environmental professionals from a wide variety of agencies, industries and academic organizations.
